About Akron's North Hill
v The hill north of Akron developed rapidly after it was connected to Downtown by a viaduct spanning the Cascade Valley in 1922. Primarily a single family, middle-income community, North Hill bordered by the Cascade Valley Metropark on the west, the Gorge Metropark on the east/northeast, Cuyahoga Falls to the north, and the Cuyahoga Valley and Downtown Akron to the south. S Although I grew up in Cuyahoga Falls and moved around during my early adult life, there was something I always liked about North Hill - other than Swenson's burgers. Someday I may leave Northeast Ohio again, but even then North Hill will be the place Blue and I call home. More about Akron's North Hill ... |
