Ed Green is a self-taught artist that works at a steel mill by day. He began oil painting as a hobby at age 45 and started taking it seriously at age 53. He quickly became an established, award-winning artist and currently has displays in galleries throughout the Ohio Valley, West Virginia, and at Studio 2091 in Cuyahoga Falls. Ed paints on an almost daily basis and has a true passion for oil painting, although he recently expanded his artistic palette to include oil pastels and pencil illustration. Ed’s message to others is that it's never too late to learn or to be a kid at heart.
